"What's up?"

Tue Jul 10, 2007, 10:14 AM
"What's up?". One of the most common phrases one says to another. Most commonly used in an attempt to begin a conversation, to show interest in someone’s everyday life, or to fill the awkward silence that will most surely devour anyone and everyone that tells the little toddler of decaying darkness and stereotypical sterility that it cannot, in fact, have a cookie.

Yes, the term can be looked upon as something helpful, a basic outline or a cheat-cheat for someone who is incapable when it comes to communicating with a creature of the same race.

Occasionally.

However, after a while, the charm of this simple sentence wears off.

It's like kicking a puppy. The first time, it's mildly amusing, and with the right audience, you can make someone choke on their own spit. Nevertheless, after the puppy has been kicked one too many times, the little bundle of joy begins to cry. And when a puppy cries, no one thinks it's funny. So, then why do people continue to kick the puppy?

Just bored, I guess. Maybe. I dunno.

Rhyming is Spiffy

Tue Jun 12, 2007, 10:03 AM
May I question your questions? May I give you the same answer? May I nod off and ignore your small talk?

I laugh because it baffles and blows me away
How you can ask the same damn questions every single day

Do you yearn for another answer?

You will not get one.

“How was the party?”
“good”
“How many people were there?”
“I dunno”
“Did you have fun?”
“sure”
“was daniella there?”
“no”
“did they have food?”
“yes”

Can you not see that your questions are bothering me?

I don’t feel right, have not for a while. I hate myself for always being in denial.

Even as I write this, it happens again
I’m already trying to find an easy way
To fake some amends

This entry is clearly very much of a scare
Weird verses and rhyming when it comes to me is rare

And I swear I wasn’t trying to.
